The Medtronic Model 5346
DDD, Temporary Pulse Generator is a dual-Chamber, external,
battery-powered, pulse generator designed to operate in several antibradycardia
pacing modalities.
The Model 5346 Provides ten modes of pacing DDD, VDD, DVI,
DOO, VVI, VVT, VOO, AAI, AAT, AOO
Specific Indications for temporary antibradycardia pacing
include, but are not limited to the following:

Complete Heart Block

Sinus Bradycardia

Sick Sinus Syndrome

Bradycardia with congestive heart failure

Atrial and /or ventricular ectopic arrihythmia

Reentrant tachycardias

Temporary pacing during cardiac arrest

Use during permanent pulse generator replacement

Temporary support, management, and evaluation of a patient
prior to the implant of permanent pacemaker

Temporary support of a patient after surgery

Acute myocardial infarction complicated by heart block
